About MSFHistory

The MultiService Forum (MSF) was founded in 1998 as a global association of service providers and system suppliers committed to developing and promoting open-architecture, multiservice switching systems.

The founding members, Cisco Systems, Worldcom, and Telcordia envisioned an organization that would foster cooperation in the development of open communications systems and provide a cost effective framework for building interoperable networks for the future.

Today, with an ever-growing membership, the MSF is developing agreements among the industry's leaders that will shape communications technology in the 21st century.
