Tom Taylor
Nortel
Tom Taylor has been working in the area of VoIP standards for the last ten
years. He is Chair of the IETF Megaco Working Group and, as an associate
rapporteur in ITU-T Study Group 11, chaired the development of the SIP-ISUP
interworking standard Q.1912.5. Tom has been with Nortel since 1973, working
with its R&D subsidiary Bell Northern Research until it was absorbed
into the parent company. Prior to that he worked in various industries in
the discipline of operational research.
Tom was elected as the MSF Architecture Working Group Vice Chairperson in April 2008.
