Dave Hutton, Vice President
Standards Strategist
Vodafone
David Hutton is the Vice-President of the MultiService Forum (MSF) and a member of the Board of Directors. David is a Senior Standards Strategist for Vodafone Group
and is an active member of 3GPP, ETSI TISPAN and GSMA. David is currently working on Vodafone's Core Network solutions, with specific experience in 3GPP related core network
protocols (IMS, Diameter, SIP-I, H.248, BICC, GTP, MAP, SAE/LTE), the ETSI TISPAN architecture (NASS, RACS), and GSMA Roaming in LTE. David is the Vice-Chairman of 3GPP CT4, 3GPP
protocol working group defining intra-core network protocols, as well as being the rapporteur of a number of 3GPP specifications. David has a diverse background working within Hardware,
Software, and Test Engineering for global companies as Thomson-Marconi Sonar, Nortel, and Symbian.
David holds a BEng with Honours degree from the University of Bath in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
